Field Notes | Light on the Edges

Soft, angled midday light illuminating the edges of a quiet room while the center rests in gentle shadow.

Midday sunlight fell in a way that felt almost ceremonial—bright at the center, softer at the edges, shaping the room with quiet intention. It reminded me how illumination often arrives gradually, touching the periphery before reaching the heart.

I noticed how my spirit sharpened just slightly, a hint of clarity rising where things once felt blurred.

So I received the light as it came, letting it mark a gentle turning within.

A small clarity, welcomed in.
